With the continuous advancement of the urbanization process,China's small-sized apartment have entered the stage of refined and high-quality development,and the high-quality small-sized apartment is the first choice for young buyer group.The kitchen has long been known as the "soul of the family,"'but the dining-space is becoming more and more important as an adjunct to the kitchen.With the introduction of the concept of "Living in kitchen",this new way of life is actively affecting the young consumer groups who pursue quality life.This paper takes the space of small-sized apartment's kitchen and dining-room as the object of research.Using literature and investigation research method,analyze the development history,design methods,current situation,domestic and international trends,and find out the key points worthy of reference for Chinese kitchen and dining-space design.Using market research and questionnaire survey methods in Suzhou,Shanghai,Hangzhou and Nanjing.This paper analyzes the kitchen and dining-space area,family composition,lifestyle and aesthetic preferences of young consumers,and studies their requirement of the layout and operation in the area.Summarizing the existing kitchen dining space,there are problems such as"unreasonable layout planning,insufficient space utilization,and disordered operation lines",and interpreting the "miniaturization" of young families and the"decentralization" of home space.This paper starts with the combination form,space layout,function division and user requirements of the kitchen and dining-space,and systematically studies the space with the optimization principle of "space loop".Choose three mainstream kitchen layouts:one-line,L-type and double-row type,with the "Frankfurt kitchen" design concept and work flow,and study the five functional areas of "storage,cleaning,operation,cooking,dining".It sums up the characteristics of the kitchen type,combined with the operation path and human-machine size,use the "storage-clean-cooking" triangle work line optimization principle to rationally plan each partition,optimize the working path.Under the premise of ensuring the experience,the utilization rate of the small-sized apartment kitchen and dining-space is improved.
