China's economy has advanced in leaps and bounds since the reform and opening up,and the process of urbanization has initiated a booming period.However,as a result of the development of urbanization,urban hydrological problems have become increasingly serious.The increasing impervious area of the city blocks the infiltration channel of rainwater and damages the original ecological water system of the city,resulting in the redistribution of surface runoff and the deterioration of the urban water temperature environment,thus increasing the pressure on the urban drainage system.As the most vital component of the urban drainage system,the surface drainage system of urban roads is also facing increasingly severe drainage pressure.In the southern region of our country,cities are developing rapidly,most of which are large and medium-sized cities.Meanwhile,the southern region belongs to a humid climate zone with abundant rainfall,heavy rainfall intensity and vulnerability to typhoons.It is heavy rainstorms in rainy seasons,urban roads are more prone to disasters such as ponding and water logging than other regions in our country,seriously affecting the daily life of urban residents and even causing serious loss of life and property.Despite that our country has conducted a lot of research on surface drainage system of urban roads and come up with quite a number of optimization measures,there is still a lot of room for optimization of surface drainage system of urban roads in the south due to the diversity and complexity of urban environment in rainy areas in the south,the high intensity of urban rainfall and the short return period of rainstorm.In view of the serious problems of ponding and water logging on urban roads in rainy areas in the south,this paper studies the optimization of surface drainage system of urban roads in rainy areas in the south from the following aspects by consulting,analyzing and summarizing a large number of documents and combining with actual projects.(1)Starting from the analysis and calculation of urban surface runoff,it studies the theoretical calculation and analysis method of urban road drainage system,and summarizes the advantages,disadvantages and applicable occasions of various urban runoff yield and concentration calculation,gully catchment flow calculation and rainwater canal design flow calculation.(2)The design of surface drainage system of urban roads is studied.The various theoretical calculation methods in drainage system design are analyzed,and the layout methods of gully is summarized and optimized,rainwater canal and inspection wells.(3)In view of the surface drainage system of urban roads in rainy areas in the south,reseach to optimizes the surface drainage system of urban roads in rainy areas in the south frorm the geometric design of urban roads,by various cutting-edge technologies and methods combining with concave green space,various permeable pavements and linear drainage technologies,and puts forward specific optimization measures.(4)By participating in the construction of road surface drainage system in real projects,the author summarizes the problems of surface drainage system of urban roads in practical projects in light of the actual situation of site construction and the hydro-geographical environment of the city where the project is located,puts forward corresponding optimization methods and applies them to real projects.
