Geological survey of expressway is one of the important steps in highway construction.Drilling technology in geological survey process is of great significance to ensure the quality of survey the design and construction.This paper investigateds the theoretical knowledge and practical application of drilling technology at home and abroad.Based on the engineering geological survey under the complex geological conditions of a highway in northern Hebei,the research method combining theoretical analysis and experiment was used to study the selection of drilling equipment and drilling method.The paper researched on the quality control of drilling,the properties,and improvement of plant glue washing liquid,influencing factors of plant glue in the process of drilling core.The research results are as follows:(1)Research on drilling technology.In order to ensure the normal and efficient drilling construction,it is necessary to make reasonable selection of drilling equipment and drilling methods.Basng on study on four drilling methods of:cemented carbide drilling,diamond drilling,drill drilling and impact rotary drilling,the paper reasonablly choosed the drilling parameters such as drilling equipment,drilling technology and drilling method under different geological conditions.(2)The CT type vegetable glue washing liquid was tested to obtain its characteristics Many experiments were carrid out,such as a core protection test,a viscoelastic vibration test and a shear thinning test.The vegetable glue washing liquid is a viscoelastic fluid,which can suspend and carry rock powder.It has the functions of viscoelastic vibration damping and lubrication drag reduction.The mechanical vibration of the drill pipe is weakened.The disturbance to the core is reduced,but the core take-up rate isincreased.The wear of the drill is reduced.The service life of the drill is improved.(3)Rheology tests were carried out on CT type vegetable glue washing liquid.The test results show that the vegetable gum belongs to the non-Newtonian fluid of natural high molecular polymer.Its rheological equation can be described by power law mode and Bingham mode at different shear rates.(4)Optimize the ratio of vegetable gum rinsing solution by conducting indoor test on CT type vegetable glue rinsing liquid.By studying the performance changes of vegetable gum rinsing liquid under different concentrations,it is determined that the optimal concentration ratio of CT type vegetable gum rinsing liquid is 6%to 7%.(5)In order to further improve the performance of the CT type vegetable gum rinsing liquid,a modified test was carried out.The test results show that when modified with NaOH,a small amount of sodium hydroxide helps to improve the performance of the vegetable gum rinsing solution,but excess sodium hydroxide may reduces its performance.The optimum concentration of is determined as 3%.When the polyacrylamide is used for improvement,the polyacrylamide is preferably added at the amount from 3%to 3.5%.
