At present, the smart grid has become one of the indispensable infrastructures in people's lives. As a commonly used communication method, wireless communication is gradually being widely used in smart grid system due to its convenient deployment and wide range of advantages. It brings convenience and serious challenges to security. This paper analyzes the security of the smart grid from the aspects of device access authentication and data encryption transmission Based on the analysis of the characteristics of SCADA system in the smart grid, the security communication target is proposed. Then designs a scheme that is more suitable for smart grid wireless communication, which includes the device access secuirty authentication and data encryption security transmission. In the device access security authentication scheme, the advantages and disadvantages of the existing certificate-based and role-based authentication schemes are analyzed firstly.Combined with the network architecture of the smart grid,a two-way authentication based on the challenge-response is proposed. The hash function protects the identity of the power device. The device access authentication scheme uses BAN logic for formal analysis,at the same time, uses the informal analysis to prove that the designed scheme can protect the integrity and confidentiality of data during the authentication process, while resisting man-in-the-middle attack, mailicious injection and so on.In the data encryption security transmission scheme,a shared key encryption scheme based on dynamic key is designed. The dynamic key algorithm is an improvement on the dynamic key generation schemes proposed by Saxena and Liu Ting et al.The frequency of generating the dynamic key is set to achieve the purpose of controling the update the frequency of shared key.In the scheme,a hash algorithm is used to calculate the dynamic key,and the CTR encryption mode and the XOR operation are used for data encryption and decryption. In the wireless communication environment,an attacker cannot listen to the data transmission process without error for a long time,so it is dfficult to obtain the shared key and transmitted data information. In this way,the secruity and self-healing of the system can be ensured by keeping the freshness of the shared keyFinally, based on the analysis of the DNP3 protocol commonly used in SCADA system and OpenDNP3 open source code, the communication between the master and outstation is simulated;and the feasibility of the proposed secure communication scheme is verified;the security and communication overhead of the scheme are analyzed, which proves that the proposed communication scheme has better comprehensive performance.
