In order to improve the water supply guarantee probability to Tianjin of the middle route of south-to-north water transfer project,prevent the water supply pause caused by the sudden accident and the engineering maintenance at the same time,it is necessary to set up Wangqingtuo storage reservoir at the end of the Tianjin trunk line of south-to-north water transfer project.Because the water permeability is stronger of the reservoir dam and stratigraphy,it mainly exist the following problems in groundwater control after the construction of reservoir:seepage of dam?the reservoir surrounding submerged?seepage deformation of dam and so on.Aiming at above problems,combine with the feature of groundwater seepage of reservoir area,design seepage control scheme of the reservoir dam,analyze the process of groundwater seepage through using the numerical simulation software Geostudio,simulate the characteristics of seepage field distribution under different seepage control scheme,through analysis of the seepage stability and seepage control under different seepage control scheme,put forward reasonable reservoir seepage control plan in order to ensure the safety of the project and improve the efficiency of reservoir water storage.Research results provide theoretical basis for engineering design and construction.
