Urban park green space is one of the largest parts in social ecological benefits as well as the most important urban public service facilities in the city.It plays an important role in improving urban environment,balancing urban ecology,preventing and sheltering urban residents from disasters,adjusting psychology and enhancing the image of the city.Park green space provides leisure and entertainment places for urban residents,which is closely related to urban residents' life.Whether the layout of park green space is reasonable,whether it can meet residents' leisure and entertainment needs,and whether the site selection of new park green space is fair and reasonable to achieve the effective service of park green space.These are problems that urban planners need to be actively deal with.Through studying service efficiency of two types of park green space based on the daily travel needs and based on holiday travel needs under different traffic modes and combining with the previous investigation of Haikou city residents' travel modes,this paper weights different traffic modes and analyzes comprehensive service efficiency of different types of park green space to compare changes of service efficiency park green space of city center urban area from 2010 to 2017,which objectively understood the distribution and development of the green space service urban area of Haikou city center and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The service efficiency of park green space in the central urban area of Haikou city basically shows a trend of weakening along the traffic network from the central and northern parks to the southwest of the city,which is,the pattern of "high in the north and low in the south,high in the east and low in the west" with relatively obvious overall difference and relatively high green coverage rate in the central urban area.From 2010 to 2017,the service efficiency of park green space has been significantly increased,but the problems of insufficient number of park green space and unfair spatial distribution have not been fundamentally solved,making it difficult for residents in the western and southern parts of the urban area to reach the park green space.(2)The park green space based on daily travel needs has better overall accessibility,and the fairness of non-motor vehicle(bicycle)is better than that of walking mode.The service efficiency in 2017 compared with 2010 has been significantly improved and the scope of service void has been significantly reduced,and various indicators related to the service fairness of park green space have also been significantly improved.Walking mode is not fair in Jinyu street in the south central part of the city,the area around Nandujiang bridge in the southeast and Xiuying area in the west of the city.Non-motor vehicle(bicycle)mode is not fair in the area around Nandujiang bridge and Yongzhuang village in the southwest.From the point of daily trips to park green space,comparing the service efficiency of 10 minutes and 20 minutes,the service area increases significantly,and the growth rate of service population is much lower than that of the area when the service scope is expanded.The population density in the downtown area of Haikou city matches the park distribution.(3)The accessibility of different transportation modes in park green space based on holiday travel demand is obviously different,and the accessibility of motor vehicles is better,while that of non-motor vehicles and walking is worse.By the walking mode,more than half of areas with high population density including the east and south central part of the city cannot reach the large park green space by walking within 30 minutes.By the bicycle mode,there are a few areas with high population density at the intersection of Guoxing and Longtang in the east of the city,but far from large parks with no effective coverage.There are large areas without effective service coverage in the west of the city.There are small areas in the south and southwest of the city where motor vehicles cannot be effectively covered.(4)The area and quantity of park green space still need to be significantly increased to optimize the layout of urban park green space,and improve the supply of park green space service in areas where park services are inadequate.Improve the basic road network,get through the dead-end roads,strengthen the urban slow traffic system,and improve accessibility in areas where park services are inadequate.Strengthen the construction of park green space,enrich service facilities of park green space,enhance the attraction and service level of park green space,and improve the service efficiency of urban park green space.
