Analysis Of SINOTRUK’s Financial Situation And Countermeasure Research Based On Harvard Analytical Framework

As a product of many upstream and downstream related industries,heavy trucks have always attracted the attention of the society and investors.From the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,a number of local enterprises engaged in heavy truck production have sprung up and made great contributions to economic construction.After that,with the development of national infrastructure construction,the rise of real estate industry,the development of western regions and other engineering projects,the market demand has expanded rapidly.The implementation of policies such as the Sixth National Emission Standard and the 921 New Deal for Controlling of Speeding will also bring opportunities.In order to compete for the heavy truck market and promote the product to the high-end,managers need to analyze the market demand through financial analysis,adapt to the industry development trend and economic environment,combine the advantages and disadvantages,analyze the current financial status,and adjust in time development strategy.Based on the Harvard analytical framework,this paper chooses the financial statement data of SINOTRUK from 2012 to 2017 as the main reference material.From a strategic perspective,analyze the external and industrial environment,market opportunities and challenges,the advantages and disadvantages of SINOTRUK.From the perspective of accounting,it analyzes the accounting policies of SINOTRUK,mainly including whether the accounting policies of important assets such as inventory,fixed assets,bad debts and R&D investment are reasonable.From the financial point of view,the financial indicators of four sample enterprises are compared horizontally,and the changes of SINOTRUK’s financial indicators from 2012 to 2017 are analyzed vertically.DuPont analysis method and comprehensive financial evaluation system are used to measure the comprehensive financial performance of SINOTRUK.From the perspective of prospects,this paper forecasts the development prospects of SINOTRUK and puts forward suggestions for improvement based on strategy and finance.The purpose of this paper is to help SINOTRUK develop and operate better,and provide a learning model for local heavy truck manufacturers.
