Evolutionary Structural Optimization(ESO)is an important means of topology optimization(TO),and strut-and-tie model(STM)is the bearing system of disturbed region(D-region)of reinforced concrete structure.This paper has conducted a series of researches for ESO-TO method based on the configuration of typical D-region.The researches can be listed as follows:(1)The research of general programming.Using the Python script language of the finite element software Abaqus,this paper makes a secondary development for the software,and the topology optimization is presented by ESO method.(2)The research on ESO-TO in the linear elastic stage.The developed program is used into the elastic topology optimization and construct STM for seven typical D-regions,including deep beam,local compression structure,deviator,diaphragm,corbel,pier cap and pier-cap joints.Based on the three components of ESO-TO:elemental deletion standard,smoothing algorithm and configuration termination standard,the current research results are checked,and then a variety of corrections and supplements are provided.Comparative analysis shows that:the results obtained are better than the current results.(3)The research on ESO-TO in the nonlinear stage.The element deletion criterion and configuration termination criterion for the nonlinear ESO-TO method are proposed,and the nonlinear topology optimization of typical D-region of reinforced concrete structure is presented.The rationality of the proposed method is validated by taking the reinforced concrete deep beam as an example.(4)The research on the parametric optimization design.According to the STM of local compression structure and pier cap,the influence variables are extracted and the parametric optimization design is carried out.
