The development and utilization of renewable energy represented by wind energy has created a new way to solve the worldwide energy shortage and environmental pollution problems.It becomes more common to connect wind turbines in microgrid,but the safe operation of the grid is also challenged by the randomness and volatility of wind power output.Energy storage system has the ability to absorb and release energy,which can suppress the fluctuation of wind power.The size and location of energy storage system have a greate impact on its suppressing effect.Therefore,the study of energy storage systems planning has important practical significance.Firstly,based on the fluctuation characteristics of minute-scale wave of the wind power,an energy storage capacity determining method is proposed.After fully grasping and analyzing the fluctuation characteristics of min-scale wave,considering the adversarial relationship between the ability and capacity of the energy storage system,the capacity and maximum charging and discharging power are determined by using the interval estimation theory of probability statistics meeting the charging and discharging demand of a certain confidence level.Then,the energy storage location is analyzed by the sensitivity analysis.Planning and operation are interactional.Taking the voltage and frequency,the important state variables,as the starting point,and considering flexible active power regulation characteristics of energy storage,Analyzing the influence of active power change on the voltage and frequency of the nodes in the microgrid in planning.Based on the model of IEEE 34-node microgrid,the energy storage location is selected and sorted according to the sensitivity analysis results,to better stabilize the node voltage and suppress the frequency fluctuation.On the base of sensitivity analysis,combining the reliability analysis to final determine the optimal access location of energy storage.Firstly,the meanings of a series of reliability indices,such as SAIFI are introduced,and the reliability of energy storage location ranking based on sensitivity analysis in the previous chapter is tested.Considering fully the influence of wind power fluctuation on the system operation status,based on the existing sequencing,Analyzing the system reliability through simulation,and the optimal access point of energy storage is finally determined.
