In recent years,the contradiction between high energy consumption and low energy efficiency in the field of industrial production and China's national policy of sustainable development has become increasingly intensified.Air compressor is widely used by many factories and enterprises because the compressed air produced by air compressor is a rare clean power source,but the large amount of heat directly discharged during its operation causes a great waste of energy.In recent years,scholars at home and abroad have carried out many waste heat recovery retrofits for different types of air compressors,and the effect is obvious,but the heat recovery rate is still low,there is a lot of room for improvement.This paper mainly focuses on the application research and performance analysis of fuel injection screw air compressor in thermal power plant.Firstly,it reviews and summarizes the application research of air compressor waste heat recovery system by scholars at home and abroad,summarizes the development history of screw air compressor,and introduces its working principle and characteristics.Based on engineering thermodynamics theory,the feasibility of waste heat recovery transformation of fuel injection screw compressor is analyzed,and the main transformation forms are analyzed.It is determined that the air compressor studied in this paper adopts oil-gas heat recovery system to further improve the heat recovery rate of the system.In the design and application of the system,shell-and-tube heat exchanger is selected and its type selection calculation is carried out in detail.Then,taking the local temperature as a parameter,the influence of temperature change on the performance of the waste heat recovery system is studied.Given the inlet water temperature of cooling water,the outlet cooling water temperature of heat exchanger is calculated by using the method of energy heat transfer unit number,and the heat recovery rate of the system is further calculated.It is concluded that when the air compressor's variable index and the suction and exhaust pressure are constant,the heat recovery rate of the system increases with the suction temperature.The necessity of calculating and analyzing the heat recovery rate and the average return water temperature of the waste heat recovery system throughout the year in order to meet the users'demand for the stability of the system performance.Finally,this paper introduces the practical application of the oil-injection screw oil-gas heat recovery system in a power plant in Liaoning Province,analyses and calculates its energy-saving benefits and the payback period of the project investment,points out the good economic benefits brought by the project,and at the same time,this study has certain guiding significance for the air compressor transformation of other factories and enterprises.
