In channel dredging,internal lake dredging and land reclamation operations,the flow components(impeller,pump casing,front and rear liners)of the mud pump's core equipment often fail due to cavitation and wear.Among them,the wear and cavitation of the front liner is the most serious,which seriously restricts the production efficiency.In order to prolong the service life of the mud pump front liner,this paper studies the wear behavior and wear distribution of the front liner of mud pump combining numerical simulation and experiment.The wear and cavitation test was designed to test different wear-resistant materials in combination with actual working conditions.To optimize lining abrasion resistant material and improve the efficiency of dredging and reduce operating costs.Research has important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,the DPM erosion model was used to analyze the solid concentration distribution,pressure field distribution,particle motion trajectory and wear rate distribution of the different particle size particles in the front lining.The study showed that the wear of the front liner below the volute casing tongue was the most Seriously,main reason is that the small-diameter particles carried by the swirling liquid flow of the mud pump and the vortex at the volute of the volute rapidly washing.Caused by processed and wear of the surface of the lining board was not smooth,which is set by half globule pits to simulate liner actual running state.The study found that cavitation was severe and speed of fluid was highest of the former lining outer shoulder ring.Wear loss effect is the coupling of cavitation and wear.The failure of the front lining was affected by the cavitation erosion and abrasion of the sediment water.At the same time,volute tongue have serious effect on the vortex movement of fluid flow,which is further exacerbated the abrasion of the flow surface.In order to further study the wear mechanism of the lining,the turntable erosion test bench combined with the working conditions of the lining was manufactured.Theoretical analysis and experimental study were conducted to study the distribution of flow field and wear rate around the test pieces.The cavitation and wear experiments of eight kinds of wear-resistant materials commonly used for linings were carried out using a turntable test bench.Analysising the average wear rate of different material under different conditions and the surface three-dimensional topography of several materials to get anti-cavitation and wear properties.According to the lining abrasion failure mechanism and the properties of wear resistant material,determine the material combination application of liner inside and outside circle.Namely the outer ring of shoulder adopts high hardness of tungsten carbide(2200 hv to 2300 hv),the inner ring uses the resilient polyurethane(hardness shao A72).Finally,according to the theoretical analysis and test results,the existing structure is optimized for the structure optimization design and wear-resistant material application,the front lining is designed and manufactured and carried out the field test.
