Brake-by-wire technology is an important basis for the intelligent development of automobiles.Electro-mechanical brake(EMB)is a kind of brake-by-wire technology.Its structure is simple,and it is easy to combine various braking control algorithms to achieve better braking effect.Firstly,the structure of EMB is designed.Through the analysis of the working principle,working environment and function of each component of EMB,the design requirements of EMB structure are put forward,and the calculation and selection of each component are carried out.The mechanical relationship among the components of EMB system is analyzed,and the mathematical model is established.The simulation model is established in MATLAB/Simulink,which establishes a platform for simulation test.Secondly,the control strategy of EMB is studied.EMB response control is designed to improve the response speed of EMB;the control strategy of brake clearance is designed to make EMB system eliminate brake clearance in a fixed time and produce fixed brake clearance after braking,and to make up for the shortcomings of EMB response control;Antilock brake s are added on the basis of EMB response control and brake clearance control.Syem,ABS,is conducive to improving the safety of braking.Finally,the three control strategies are simulated and EMB feasibility test is carried out.The current loop,speed loop and clamping force loop of EMB system response control are simulated to verify whether the response of EMB can meet the expected requirements;the braking clearance control strategy is simulated when the target clamping force is different to verify its impact on the braking effect of EMB system;and the ABS control is simulated under different adhesion coefficient pavement.Experiments verify the feasibility of ABS control based on EMB system response control and brake clearance control.Experiments are carried out on 1/4 brake bench to verify the feasibility of EMB.
