Recently,remote sensing satellites have been successfully applied to various fields of national economy and national defense construction,especially play an irreplaceable role in emergency response,resource investigation,global change monitoring,military reconnaissance and basic surveying and mapping.Satellite orbit is an important factor affecting satellite acquisition data.Satellite orbit simulation is the premise of satellite orbit design,control and realization,and it is also the basic component of satellite mission.At the same time,the instantaneous coverage area of satellite is the core part of satellite orbit design and constellation design.To complete the satellite orbit simulation,firstly we should establish the basic space dynamics model,and determine the parameters of the satellite according to the different tasks.How to simplify a satellite task and design a high efficiency,high accuracy and reliability satellite dynamics model has become the focus of the research.The realization of satellite simulation program can give people more references when designing the base orbit.When designing remote sensing satellites,the important content of satellite system design is the design of instantaneous coverage area.The analysis and evaluation of satellite coverage can provide a reliable indicator for the construction of the ground system and the application of the results.The purpose of this paper is to build computing model of the satellite orbit and its coverage area and show it to people in a visual way.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1)research on satellite orbit visualizationIn the visualization and implementation of the satellite orbits,by learning basic knowledge of satellite orbits and 3D visualization related technologies,a visual simulation system was proposed based on the GeoVIS three-dimensional spherical platform to locate and monitor the real-time location of the satellites.Specific modules and code preparation were designed,and the current satellite's spatial position and satellite attitude were calculated in real time and visually displayed on the three-dimensional ball.Finally,the results of the example calculation are tested and compared with the results of the STK software,which Verifies the reliability of the idea and design module for satellite visualization.2)Research on the visualization of satellite instantaneous coverage areaFor the visualization of satellite coverage area,after deeply studying the coverage shapes of most satellite sensors,a mathematical model for calculating the instantaneous coverage area of ground observation using multiple sensors is proposed.The innovation lies in adapting to many types of sensors and adding corrections when the north and south poles are within the coverage.Finally,from examples the latitude and longitude coordinates of the satellites covered by the satellites are calculated and the results of the whole coverage calculation are analyzed.At the same time,satellite coverage displays of different types of sensors are displayed in 2D and 3D visualization.
