This paper takes the dormitory of colleges and universities in shenyang area as the research object,investigates and summarizes the current situation of the dormitory,investigates and evaluates the current situation of the thermal environment of the dormitory with the method of field test,summarizes the thermal environment problems existing in the dormitory rooms in typical seasons,and summarizes the influence of the outdoor environment on the indoor thermal environment of the dormitory rooms of colleges and universities.And thermal comfort in dormitory users-college students subjective questionnaire survey,the regression function analysis,correlation analysis and other methods to organize data analysis,get thermal comfort temperature range of the university students,and to the research results of the thermal adaptation of the college students as reference,condition of the indoor thermal environment of dormitory room to accord with the characteristics of university students'actual thermal adaptability analysis.Finally,major in the optimization of indoor thermal environment from the perspective of space design,the paper proposes to optimize the design of the balcony space.The theoretical model of the connction between the indoor prediction temperature and the design surface width of the closed balcony is established.The temperature gain that can be realized by the closed balcony is quantified.The design surface width range of the closed balcony needed to achieve the comfortable temperature under different design conditions is discussed.At last,a series of optimization measures were proposed by taking a dormitory building as an example,and the design scheme was simulated and analyzed with DeST software to verify the practicability and feasibility of the optimization strategy.Paper committed to shenyang,and other similar climates university dormitory comfortable indoor thermal environment construction to provide reference data and theoretical support,to a certain extent,improve the cold region college students dormitory retaining structure design related theory system,in order to improve the students' living,contribute the living environment,to promote the construction of a conservation-minded campus,realize the sustainable development of colleges and universities play a role.
