In recent years,solar photovoltaic power generation has developed rapidly,but at the same time there are many problems and challenges.For example: series configuration of photovoltaic batteries and photovoltaic modules in shadows or other mismatched conditions will lose a lot of power,it will produce hot spots in serious cases.Switched Capacitance Equalizer(SCE)can solve the mismatch problem caused by shading or other reasons in photovoltaic system.In order to solve the problem of low output power of traditional photovoltaic modules under mismatched conditions,a novel photovoltaic power equalizer based on switched capacitor is proposed.The working principle of SCE is analyzed in detail,its insertion loss model is established,and the power equalization system is designed.The system simulation model is established in MATLAB.The insertion loss model of SCE and the output characteristics of equalizer are studied by simulation under different mismatch degree.The simulation results show that the SCE can improve the output power of photovoltaic module and the optimal operating point of the module under mismatch condition,and verify the insertion loss model.An experimental platform was built.The SCE's insertion loss is tested,and a comparative study on the output characteristics of traditional components and equalization components was carried out.The experimental results verify the correctness of the insertion loss model,and show that the increase of output power of SCE for mismatched photovoltaic modules increases first and then decreases with the deepening of mismatch.The experimental results show that the maximum output power of the photovoltaic module using SCE can be increased by 12.47% on average compared with the traditional diode photovoltaic module with bypass diode.
