Analysis Of Urban Landscape Characteristics And Guidance Of Landscape Style Control In Main Urban Areas In Beihai City,Guangxi

Every city should have its own soul,thus to avoid the cultural heritage and natural scenery from being eroded and submerged due to urban construction.A good and unique urban landscape character not only provides citizens with a comfortable life experience and happiness,but also enhances the city’s attractiveness and cohesiveness and enhances the city’s comprehensive strength.Since the development plan of the Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration,the development of the Beihai has been changing with each passing day.While in the large-scale rapid development and construction,Beihai faces the problems of lack of regional characteristics and destruction of historical and cultural landscapes.In this context,the control and guidance of the Beihai city’s style is particularly important.This paper first differentiates and defines the related concepts such as urban style and features,proposes the components of urban style,and then understands the factors that influence people’s evaluation of urban style through relevant theoretical research.Based on the definition of the connotation of urban landscape characteristics,this paper studies the physical environment characteristics and spiritual personality characteristics of Beihai city through the methods of field investigation,data search and literature query,and summarizes the overall urban landscape characteristics of Beihai city as "the picturesque peninsula,the blue sea silk road and the hometown of Nanzhu",and analyzes the existing problems.Based on the research on the theoretical basis and the analysis of the characteristic elements of urban landscape,this paper puts forward the goal,principle and method of shaping the features of Beihai city’s main urban area,follows the principle of people-oriented,reasonable positioning and integration of core elements,divides the features of the planning area and makes the detailed rules of zoning control and guidance to form the overall feature structure.Compared with traditional statutory planning,this paper belongs to non-statutory guiding planning,which is implemented into statutory control planning and detailed planning through guidance.The practical results of the paper are divided into three parts,which are general conception,zoning rules and special guidance.The overall concept includes the objectives,principles,orientation of city image,orientation of landscape and features of Beihai city,methods of shaping landscape and features,division and zoning guidelines of landscape and features in the planning area.The content of special guidance includes:road system,garden landscape and characteristic sculpture,landscape sight corridor,city height and skyline system,city color,night lighting system,billboard and sign system.The main contents of zoning control guidance include:regional development goals,planning principles,planning guidance,building guidance,building height control,building color control,important road space and main public space,etc.This study hopes to provide guidance for follow-up planning and urban construction of Beihai City.To create a harmonious and unified living environment with reasonable scale and beautiful vision,enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of Beihai City,and enhance attractiveness of the city,there by making make Beihai City have a good city business card.
