In the new media era,new media applications have been applied in all aspects of urban construction,and many new media applications have emerged in the subway space.As the frontier city of national economic and cultural development,Beijing should make new efforts in construction and cultural communication.In recent years,the population of Beijing has increased significantly,and the subway has become the main force of urban transportation.According to statistics,the daily passenger flow in Beijing is about 10 million.The subway space has been an important space for the audience's long-term life,and the subway space is also an important part of the city's image.The new media art has brought fresh blood to the subway transportation environment.The combination of the new media and culture of the subway will provide new direction for urban propaganda,and it is also a new possibility to enrich the people's spiritual world.This article mainly studies the new media art of Beijing subway station space to express the regional culture,analyzes the actual situation,and puts forward guiding opinions to the real design.Firstly,the theory and data of metro new media and regional culture are collected and analyzed to lay the foundation for further research.Secondly,the application of new media art in metro space of Beijing regional culture is investigated,and the advantages and disadvantages of the expression of new media art culture in Beijing are summarized.At the same time,the elements of Beijing's regional culture map are extracted and the successful examples of the development of new media art in subway space in other regions are collected.Finally,according to the above investigation and research,the author puts forward reasonable suggestions on the design and practice of new media art in metro space based on Beijing regional culture,and expresses the art design of metro new media in Beijing regional culture.Through the development of new media in Beijing metro space in recent years,the data and information obtained from multi-directional investigation,combined with design,urban planning,and other perspectives are discussed.This paper analyzes and studies the form,classification and application of regional cultural content in Beijing.To find a way suitable for the development of new media art in Beijing metro space.
