The specific activity measurement of natural radioactive samples has a wide range of applications in lithology analysis,building materials radioactivity testing,environmental monitoring,food testing,etc.With the continuous development of society,the application requirements are increasing,and the requirements for intelligent and automated instruments are required.It is also constantly improving.In this paper,A low background gamma spectroscopy software was developed using the Python language.The main results were as follows:1)Using Python's scipy.signal and other open source libraries,compare with traditional spectrum smoothing,peak finding,peak area calculation and other algorithms.The results show that the spectral smoothing is achieved by least squares piecewise fitting method,peak finding method using interval interval method and peak area calculation using function fitting method,and good results are obtained;2)Use MySQL to establish a nuclide library under different application scenarios,find the nuclide according to the energy value of the peak position,and match the nuclide corresponding to the energy;3)Select the efficiency curve method to calculate the detection efficiency of each characteristic peak of the standard source,and calculate the nuclide activity in the sample,and automatically output the specific activity of the sample in combination with the quality parameters of the sample.
