From the perspective of landscape architecture and the protection of egret resources in Zhejiang Province,this paper discusses the construction methods and laws of egret garden in Zhejiang Province.This study start with theoretical basis and field investigation,summarize the natural laws related to egret ecological habits and egret habitat and investigate the natural egret habitat in Zhejiang Province.Combining the survey results with theoretical basis,the main 4 points of construction techniques of Zhejiang egret habitat are as follows:(1)habitat location-choosing technology:the distance from artificial disturbance was more than 60m,the canopy density of phytocoenosium was more than 0.5,the altitude was less than 200m,and the slope was between 5°and 25°.The distance to water source was less than 500m,and GIS technique also used to screen egret habitat.(2)Phytocoenosium construction technology:mixed coniferous broad leaved forest is best for the nesting area.More than 8 main tree species were needed to constitute the plant community,and the heights of trees was more than 5m.Conifers,broad-leaf trees,evergreens and deciduous trees were account for more than 30%each.Phytocoenosium should have multi-layer community structure,and is best to maintain the structure of large trees,small trees,shrubs three or large trees,shrubs second or large trees,small trees.The construction of the plant communities near the water area was so important in foraging area,and the plant allocation needs a certain proportion of wet plants and aquatic plants,which was suitable for the activities of food-eating organisms.More shrubs and herbs,less Arbor plants,vertically build three layers of Arbor irrigation grass or two layers of Arbor grass or two layers of irrigation and grass layer.(3)Waterfront construction technology:the slope of waterfront was kept below 10degrees.The plane form was divided into five types:river beach,lakeside beach,small island beach,farmland beach and pond beach.In the vertical design of the water bank,the shallow water area in which the water depth is extended in 10.4cm is about 10 m.the the bottom that out of the foraging rang was controlled above 1.5m.The plants were suitable for the egrets’food organism.The pH of water was kept at 6.4 to 7.6,NO2 was kept below10mg and Cl2 was kept below 0.8mg,and dKH was below 10 each liter,dGH was controlled between 3 and 7.(4)The structure is suitable for construction in dense forest in the nesting area,and can be located at the top or higher of the plant,and the foraging area can be located at the bottom of the tree group near the water bank.The surrounding plants of the structure were consistent with the surrounding tree species type,canopy density and plant level.The principles of structure construction include:hiding and permeating,ecological environmental protection and people-oriented.The material choice of the structure was more diverse,it was necessary to choose the material coordinated with the surrounding natural environment.Finally,the technical points of egret habitat in Zhejiang Province were verified by an example in Qingshan Lake artificial Metasequoia lanceolata Forest in Linan.
