With the development of China’s industrial technology,from large mechanical equipment to cars and other mechanical equipments are filled in our life,more and more mechanical equipment plays a vital role and plays an important role in our lives.During the operation of the mechanical equipment,the internal components will wear particles due to mutual friction.These wear particles will be circulated in the oil.The wear condition of mechanical equipment can be known by detecting the metal particles in the oil.Occurs,increases the safety of mechanical equipment and prolongs the service life.Existing methods for detecting metal particles in oils are inefficient or inaccurate,and some equipments are expensive.Therefore,this paper develops a ferromagnetic metal particle detector based on the design principle of double-excitation reverse-inductive sensor to realize on-line detection of ferromagnetic metal particles in oil.The main contents of the study are as follows:Firstly,the research’s background and significance of metal particle detector are introduced.The theoretical basis and related technologies of the detection system are analyzed,and the characteristics of induced voltage signal are analyzed.The results show that the demodulation filter circuit can effectively process the waveform.It provides a theoretical reference for the physical production of detection system.Secondly,the distribution and derivation of the internal magnetic field of the electromagnetic sensor are analyzed,and the corresponding mathematical formula is established.The hardware and the software of the detector system are designed and manufactured.The hardware of the detector includes a signal generator,a sensor,an amplifying circuit and a demodulation circuit,a low pass filter circuit and the like.The software completes the data information acquisition,and uses the STM32F103 to perform ADC sampling on the filtered signal,and transmits the sampled result to the upper computer for processing.Finally,the relevant experiments of the system were carried out,and the performance of the instrument was verified by the different sizes of metal particles passing through the sensor.The results show that the ferromagnetic metal particle detector has stable performance and can effectively capture ferromagnetic metal particles with the size more than 100μm,whichcan monitor the wear of mechanical equipment.
