The Research On The Green Landscape Design Of Commercial Pedestrian Street Based On The Concept Of Sponge City

With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the urban population is increasing dramatically,and the urban land is expanding continuously.A series of urban ecological problems emerged as lacking,wasting and polluting of water being some of the most serious one.As for such a condition,concept of the sponge city has been proposed by the Chinese government.The core means of building a sponge city is Low Impact Development(LID),for which the basic principle is to minimize the impact of artificial system development on natural ecosystem,and to protect the original hydrological characteristics from the site changing.Therefore,besides keeping the original natural water system as much as possible,the green landscape of the commercial pedestrian street,as a product of urban development,should also be paid high attention.The commercial pedestrian street is gradually integrated with people's lives.For the function of carrying the development of the economy and culture,and working as a public place integrating leisure and landscape,the commercial pedestrian street has become a business card of the city.Such a street not only shoulders the role of beautifying the urban environment,but also has a capacity of alleviating the urban heat island effect.Integrating the concept of the sponge city with green landscape design of the commercial pedestrian street,arranging the plant with considering the local conditions,and optimizing the technical management,suitable commercial pedestrian street would be designed to relate the urban and natural water systems.In addition,the ability of city to control the storm water and disasters will be significantly improved,thus changing the contradictory pattern between the commercial pedestrian streets and surrounding natural environment,and forming a friendly symbiotic relationship.The main content of this paper has been divided into five chapters.The first one is the introduction,which mainly introduces the basic situation of this study,including the research background,purpose and significance,domestic and foreign research status,research methods and innovation.The second one elaborates the related concepts,generalizes the correlation between the green landscape design ofthe sponge city and the commercial pedestrian street.This chapter final analyzes the relationship of city and the green landscape of the pedestrian street,which is designed based on the sponge city,with a considering of urban planning and sustainable development.The third chapter is a key point of this paper,it mainly talks about the design principles and basic ideas of the green landscape design of commercial pedestrian street with the concept of sponge city.Combining the preliminary design preparation and experiences of domestic and foreign cases,the Wanshougong Commercial Pedestrian Street of Nanchang is redesigned in respect of green landscape.Thus the green landscape design for commercial pedestrian street with the concept of sponge city is summarized here.The fourth chapter is another key point of this paper,which expounds the value of applied the concept of sponge city to the green landscape design of commercial pedestrian street,and mainly analyzes this in terms of the ecological,economic and aesthetic.The last chapter is the conclusion and prospect of this paper.The innovation point of this paper lies in the proposing of the perspective of green landscape design of commercial pedestrian street based on the sponge city.Considering the perspective,we study the significance of the combination of the two to promote the construction of urban storm water system,and deeply discussing the content of the green landscape design of commercial pedestrian street with the concept of sponge city.The purpose is to provide a new mode of thinking for using rainwater in the city's commercial pedestrian street and achieve a theoretical and practical innovation.At the same time,the awareness of using rainwater in commercial pedestrian streets in modern cities will be enhanced,thus alleviated the difficulties caused by water problems in urban development.
