The commercial pedestrian street not only provides citizens with shopping places, but also acts as a place for people to relax and enjoy leisure life. All people hope for decent walking street environment whether from the perspective of shoppers or for workers there. To some extent, the walking street is not simply a shopping place for people. It can also be external environmental space for recreation, relaxation, enjoying the cool and landscape like the public park.So far, most commercial pedestrian street of chongqing is a rigid pavement is given priority to, green quantity shortage. In order to study the micro climate characteristics of the commercial pedestrian street in chongqing plant greening, this paper selected the article 5 of the most famous commercial pedestrian street:in chongqing yuzhong district commercial pedestrian street, the pearls of the three gorges square commercial pedestrian street, jiangbei guanyinqiao commercial pedestrian street, yangjiaping middle commercial pedestrian street, nanping commercial pedestrian street in observational studies, this article 5 pedestrian street is the corresponding administrative region economic center, and they all have certain fixed number of year, the plant grew well, wide span the distance between each other. Through the case study of Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street, it fully shows the feasibility of applying plants green quantity to improve walking streets’ microclimate environment, and also proves plants can beautify those streets and even have the reference function for future design and renovation of Chongqing commercial pedestrian streets. |
