There have been many research studies on the design methods of seismically isolated structures.However,most of the studies are committed to improving the seismic isolation performance of the structure,and pay little attention to the overall economic effectiveness of the project.Aiming at the characteristics of seismic isolation design method for building structures,this paper studies the optimization of isolation bearing parameters based on cost-effectiveness index,and proposes an optimization design method of isolation bearing parameters with the overall cost-effectiveness index of the structure as the objective function.The optimization design method can simultaneously consider the initial cost of the structure,the cost of seismic loss,and the structural reliability.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)This paper summarizes the characteristics of earthquakes,the development process of seismic resistance technology,the concept of cost-effectiveness index and its history of development,random vibration and structural dynamic reliability theory.By searching and reading literatures and monographs.It also focuses on the current research status of the cost-effectiveness concept in the field of civil engineering and the subset simulation method based on Hamiltonian Monte Carlo,which paves the way for the subsequent dynamic reliability analysis.(2)The mathematical model and optimization algorithm of seismic isolation parameters optimization based on cost-effectiveness index are systematically studied.Due to the structural dynamic reliability is the main constraint in the structural optimization model,it is necessary to definite the limit state of the structure,and then introduce the solution method of the structural dynamic reliability,as well as the optimization algorithm of the structural optimization model.These theories and methods are the basis for the successful optimization design of isolation bearing parameters based on cost-effectiveness index.(3)At the end of this paper,a multi-mass layer shear structural model and a three-dimensional finite element structural model are optimized based on cost-effectiveness index isolation parameters,and the cost-effectiveness indicators are compared with the results of traditional isolation design.This paper also discusses the impact of structural expected loss cost on optimization design to verify the applicability of structural optimization models and optimization methods.Finally,the paper also discusses the damage cost of the structure in the whole life cycle.In summary,compared with the traditional isolation design method,the method proposed in this paper can maximize the engineering effectiveness of the structure while meeting the structural performance requirement(dynamic reliability).This study provides a new type of design optimization method for the parameter optimization of structural isolation bearings.
