Structural reliability analysis and optimization are of great importance in modern engineering structural research and study. This paper mainly deals with the subjects below: the problem on FEM analysis, reliability analysis and calculation, and optimization based on the reliability of the random parameters structure; and also brings forward a method for getting the random answers from the FEM equation by taking the random multiplier from a random variable; In the FEM analysis and structural reliability optimization, the randomicity of the structural physical parameters, geometric dimensions and the load applied on the structures(under the steady state random temperature field )are all considered. This paper reasons out the reliability expressions of the random parameters truss constrained by a kind of random allowance. Based on finite element and reliability analysis, the structural optimization design model based on probability is constructed, which refers the cross-section areas as the design variables, refers the minimum of the frame's weight as the object with the reliability restricts of stress and displacement. The sensitivity of the structural responses reliability constraints with the normal form is also studied and the formulate to compute the sensitivity are also deduced in the paper. Finally some numerical examples show that the method and reliability expressions in this paper are valid and feasible.
