With the rapid development of mountains highway,more and more fill subgrade appeared.However,there are fewer relevant clauses on fill subgrade in current construction specifications.And there is no pertinencey construction experience.Moreover,the construction research about vibrating compaction to fill subgrade has not yet formed a more mature theoretical system.The method of combining discrete element method with dynamics was adopted in this study.And simulated the compaction process of fill subgrade with vibrating wheel.The factors affecting the compaction effect were analyzed by simulation.The research conclusion can provide theory reference for the construction technology and equipment research of fill subgrade.The concrete work of the paper included the following contents.Firstly,the compaction mechanism of fill subgrade and the common detection methods in construction were analyzed.The difference between fill subgrade and the common subgrade was compared and the particularity of fill subgrade was analyzed.And the crushing of rockfill particles is an important influencing factors.Discrete element method was used to establish the fragile particle model and dynamics simulation software was introduced.This method makes up for the defects that the discrete element software can't load the gravity,and realizes the vibratory compacting process of fill subgrade by using co-simulation.Secondly,the large and middle steel wheel vibrator roller commonly used in subgrade engineering was used as the compaction equipment in simulation.The different exciting force,vibration frequency and compaction times were simulated respectively by simulating the vibratory compaction process of particles.Meanwhile,the compaction effect in different depths and particle breakage of fill subgrade were analyzed.Reasonable parameters and compaction technology of vibration compaction equipment were obtained according to the characteristics on fill subgrade.To Verify the method that established by the paper using co-simulation to study the compaction process was reliable combined with the engineering in-situ test data.Finally,based on the simulation research to the commonly used large and middle roller,the compaction effect of the 36 t super heavy single vibratory road rollers to fill subgradeaccording to exciting force,vibration frequency and compaction times was simulated.And the compaction effect at different depth and partial breaking rate were analyzed.Reasonable equipment parameters and compaction technology for fill subgrade construction using super heavy vibration road roller were recommended.
