| As the permanent residence of the deceased,the ancient Chinese tombs are called the "objects" space,but also the space of narrative and concept.The tomb of the cliff refers to the way of tombs excavated in the cliffs or rock formations.It was popular in the Han dynasty to the Wei Jin and Southern and Northern dynasties.There are tens of thousands of existing ones.The Han dynasty cliff tombs preserved in the present-day Sichuan region are numerous and distinctive.The Qijiang area in Santai County,Mianyang City,Sichuan Province has a long history.As early as the pre-Qin period,the Qixian was the first principal states governing place.From the Han dynasty to the early Southern Dynasties,the Qixian was the administrative center of Guanghan county.A large number of remains of the Han dynasty tombs were left around Qijiang,mainly in the Eastern Han dynasty.These cliff tombs are diverse in shape and feature,and can be divided into separate areas in the Sichuan cliff tomb.The Qijiang cliff tomb is especially concentrated in places such as Jinzhongshan,Zijingwan,Quanshuiba,and Songlinzui.Different from the above-ground and underground spaces of other tombs,the tombs placed the two parts on the same plane,through images and architecture,they constructed the “ underground room ”.The imitation wood structure and portrait decoration of Bailinpo M1 in Qijiang cliff is the most abundant.The construction don’t deviate from the creative methods and principles of the Han dynasty art,but it presents very special.These characteristics led us to consider the study of how the various characteristics of the world under the netherworld are given to the subject of viewing and perception.On the basis of the previous study of the Qijiang cliff tomb,this paper starts from the in Bailinpo M1 and regards it as a whole for observation and research.From the analysis of portraits and architectures to image,architecture and spatialrelationships.Analyze how the builders of the cliff tombs intentionally use images and architectural design to create an underground world.These images not only have rich visuals,but also transform the life and death of the tomb master.The choice of designers include image content,distribution settings,and overall space layout.This is the key to the paper.The research allows us to think deeply about the role of images in the tomb and the relationship between architecture and space.These studies are conducive to the development of the social,historical and economic development of the Qijiang in the Han dynasty in the context of regional art.It helps us to interpret the true state of Han dynasty art and the specific forms of Han dynasty residential architecture from the perspective of art history.We will have a comprehensive understanding of the ideology and funeral etiquette of the Han dynasty. |
