The economy of growing rapidly and People's income level and purchasing power of increasing have prompted the rapid growth of automobile demand.China is already the world's largest car producer and has the world's biggest automobile consumer market.And the rapid development of the automotive industry make the automotive logistics industry have the broad prospects.Vehicle logistics is an important part of automobile logistics.For automobile manufacturers vehicle logistics is particularly important,but some automobile companies make the vehicle logistics business outsourcing to the third-party logistics enterprise for focusing on their core business.So the third-party vehicle logistics has developed.For small and medium-sized third-party vehicle logistics companies,how to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency are the key problem faced by them.Because these enterprises have many customers who's geographical place distribute widely,the routing optimization of the vehicle logistics as an important part of vehicle transportation,play an important role for reducing the cost and enhancing the efficiency of vehicle transportation.In this paper,Firstly based on the relevant theories of vehicle logistics,vehicle routing problems and routing optimization,summarize the problems of third-party vehicle logistics companies through analyzing the development process of third-party vehicle logistics and comparing with foreign countries.As the same time,this paper also analyzes the reason of existing these problem.One of the important reasons is the unreasonable routing decision.Secondly,for solving the routing decision problem,this paper constructs a multiple-distribution center VRP model that combines the actual situation of the company.In order to solve the model,this paper proposes to use the strategy of combining the geometric center of gravity zoning and the boundary allocation method to convert multiple distribution centers into a single distribution center,and then use the Genetic algorithm to optimize the route of each area.Finally,taking a actual company as an example,through the date calculation it proves that the strategy of combining the geometric center of gravity zoning and the boundary allocation method is useful.After assigning orders,through using genetic algorithm it can plan the detail route,then get the final optimization result.Comparedwith the actual route planning through company's experience,this result can effectively reduce the distance and cost of transportation in the condition of controlling the overload of carriages,then make the applicability of this article method verified.
