| In recent years, scientific development of the arctic and Antarctic is a global hot spot.Icebreakers shoulder important tasks such as opening up shipping lanes, polar rescue and material supply. Therefore, the design and construction of more superior performance of the icebreaker, can provide a full guarantee for the development of the arctic and Antarctic.Due to the particularity of the physical mechanics of sea ice and the complexity of the interaction between icebreakers and sea ice, many scholars and experts prefer to use experimental methods to study the ice-breaking resistance of icebreakers. In this paper,a theoretical model for calculating the ice-breaking resistance of an icebreaker is established, the ice-breaking resistance of an icebreaker is derived, and the ice-breaking capacity of an icebreaker is determined.Based on the above background, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation are combined to study the ice-breaking resistance of the icebreaker. The specific research content is as follows:Firstly, for the leveling of ice,the superposition combination of semi-infinite beam along the direction of the icebreaker on elastic foundation and infinite beam along the direction perpendicular to the icebreaker is used to establish the calculation model and deduce the theoretical calculation formula of icebreaker ice-breaking resistance by taking into account factors such as buoyancy and ice damage criterion.By comparing the theoretical calculation formula deduced in this paper with the existing empirical formula and theoretical formula, the validity of the theoretical calculation formula deduced in this paper is verified. Then, based on LS-DYNA numerical simulation software,a three-dimensional solid finite element model of the interaction between icebreaker and ice was established. In the process of modeling, considering the failure mode of sea ice,the reliability of ship ice model is verified by using the classical theoretical formula, and the results of numerical simulation are analyzed. Finally, the results of theoretical calculation and numerical simulation of ice-breaking resistance are compared. The effect of the thickness of ice and the inclination of the stem on the ice-breaking resistance was studied. |
