| The calculation of ice load is an important part of the study of polar activity, accurate calculation is the key to icebreaker design, performance forecasts. Numerical methods is an important means of calculation ice load, has significance in theoretical research and engineering applications for the study of the interaction of icebreakers and ice.Due to the particularity of the ice fracture, traditional numerical methods has certain limitations in the simulation of the ice-ship interactions. In peridynamic damage is incorporated in the theory at the level of these two particle interactions,so fracture occurs as a natural outgrowth of the equation of motion and constitutive models. Therefore peridynamic is more suitable for the calculation of ice loads. This study summarizes the numerical method of calculation of ice loads, analyzes the advantages of peridynamic in the calculation of ice load. prepared ice load calculation program based on peridynamic theory. The obtained results showed the applicability and rationality of peridynamic in the ice load calculation.1. Discussed numerical solution method of peridynamic, including spatial discretization, time integration and spatial partitioning. Uniaxial compression test, three-point bending test was simulated based on peridynamic, the parameters of the ice model in the theory of peridynamic are obtained by adjusting the microscopic parameters.2. Selected an appropriate contact model to established ice-ship interaction peridynamic model, developed a numerical solution program based on peridynamic methods for continuous breaking mode. Using a simplified bow model interaction with level ice, simulated ice indentation generation, the development of radial cracks, the ice bent, circumferential cracks in icebreaking process.3. Established icebreaker bow model, calculated and analyzed the characteristics of ice loads in continuous ice-breaking mode, studied the influences of ice thickness, speed and material parameters of sea ice on the ice loads4. Prepared numerical solution program for sailing in ice floes based on peridynamic method combing with voronoi function. Simulated the accumulation of ice, rotation, sliding and other typical features of ice motion in the mode of sailing in ice floes, studied the influences of the speed, intensity and average size of the ice floes on the ice loads. Finally, summary of the research aspects relating to this thesis is concluded, some works in the close future research are suggested. |
