The electric power tower with metal material as the main material is susceptible to environmental load,fatigue effect and material aging during the long service period,which causes cumulative damage to the structure,which leads to the attenuation of resistance and even the collapse of the tower.In order to monitor the fatigue damage of the tower online,this thesis comprehensively uses four technologies of acoustic emission technology,ZigBee wireless sensor network,USB interface data storage and WIFI wireless communication to design and implement a wireless monitoring system for fatigue acoustic emission of iron tower,which solves the manual detection.Inefficiency,insecurity and lag.The system uses the acoustic emission characteristic parameters to characterize the turning point of the unstable fracture stage in the fatigue crack propagation of the material.Compared with the turning point in the linear elastic fracture mechanics,the former has a certain advance amount,which is beneficial to realize the early warning of the fatigue fracture of the tower.Due to the limitation of the analog-to-digital conversion resolution and sampling frequency of the system hardware,the system can only collect part of the acoustic emission data.In order to verify the feasibility of the system,through the Q345 B steel fatigue crack growth experiment,using a certain data processing method,the law of the partial data obtained by the research,found that the system has a minimum amplitude of 60 dB and a data data rate of up to 20/s.The main data components at the turning point of the unstable fracture phase can still be collected.Therefore,the system can complete the material fatigue damage monitoring task.The system test shows that all the functional modules of the system can operate normally,and the online storage and timely transmission scheme of acoustic emission data based on ZigBee wireless sensor network proposed in this thesis can realize the online recording of fatigue damage information of the tower under the vast environment.Pre-warning,overhaul and maintenance of the tower provide reference data to avoid tower failures in a timely and effective manner and reduce the losses caused.
