A dehumidification system with the ultrasonic atomization technology(UADS),is able to atomized liquid desiccant into tiny droplets,and enlarge both the liquid-gas contact area and contact time drastically.Compared to the packed tower dehumidification system,UADS possesses a higher dehumidification effectiveness in the same working condition.However,the tiny droplets generated by the UADS bring along safety considerations as well.At present,researches on the UADS are mostly about the dehumidification effectiveness and the economy analysis of system,while less study concentrate on the safety of the system.Consequently,this thesis will focus on the following three aspects of the system safety of UADS.Firstly,the influence of lithium chloride on human health is studied since lithium chloride is chosen as the liquid desiccant of UADS.Combined with certain standards,the safety threshold of lithium chloride in indoor air was proposed to be 70?g/m~3.Lithium chloride will not accumulate in human body if lithium chloride concentration in air is less than 70?g/m~3.Then,the generation process of carryover is studied.The influence of desiccant inlet concentration and mesh mist eliminator porosity on carryover was experimentally studied and analyzed.However,carryover is lower than the safety threshold even under the most unfavorable condition,which manifests UADS won't affect indoor air quality.Finally,basic principle of corrosion in UADS is analyzed.Weight-loss method is employed to study the influence of immersion method and desiccant inlet concentration on corrosion rate of stainless steel,there are no corrosion caused by carryover on indoor metallic facility.Moreover,corrosion inhabitation method is discussed preliminarily.This thesis analyzed the safety of UADS considering possible effects on indoor air quality and corrosion.The results of this study provide design information for the application of UADS in practice...
