In the business environment where AI,IoT,cloud computing and other technologies are becoming more and more popular and increasingly competitive,effective industrial design has become a key factor for business success.How to grasp and understand the user’s psychological needs and quickly and effectively translate into design knowledge and guide product design have become an urgent problem to be solved.However,users are no longer only satisfied with the implementation of the function,and put forward higher requirements for the product,such as experience,emotions and so on.Focusing on the emotional design concept,this paper integrates the three key technologies of product design attribute definition,user emotion quantification and design knowledge mining,and proposes a product smart design method based on user emotion quantitative new tool auditory parameter method.Firstly,based on the development of design theory and the advancement of science and technology,this paper proposes a product smart design method.Secondly,it proposes a scientific method for product design attribute definition,user emotion quantification and design knowledge mining,and constructs a product smart design route.Based on the primitive principle of extenics,a new method for defining product design attributes is proposed.The product attribute matrix is defined to describe the product attribute characteristics.The auditory parameter method is used to quantify the user’s emotions for the product,the user’s psychological needs are represented,and the logistic regression algorithm processes the design data.Sexual design knowledge predicts valuable product attributes.Finally,the effectiveness of the smart design method is verified by using a whitewasher washing machine as an example.Based on the auditory parameter method,the product smart design method establishes the mapping relationship between ‘auditory stimulation-user emotion-product shape-knowledge mining’,and quantifies the user’s cognitive information,which provides convenience for design communication and collaboration,and taps the user’s product.Psychological needs,product regression models derived from mathematical modeling provide scientific and rational guidance for product market positioning and design strategy development,and provide designers with effective design technical parameters and specifications.The product smart design method combines design knowledge and mining algorithms to achieve innovative integration in different fields,and promotes the smart design.This method is a versatile,universal,and reproducible method for many types of products such as electronic products,household appliances,and large mechanical equipment.
