Research On The Spatial Characteristics Of Urban Parks Affecting Environmental Restoration

A fast,high-pressure life rhythm will increase the mental burden of urban residents,and in the long run,it will endanger people’s physical and mental h ealth.According to Kaplan’s Attention Recovery Theory,an environment that is fascinating,escaping,compatible and malleable provides a comfortable resting space.As a green space in the city,the city park is the main place to relieve stress and restore attention.It can bring a healthy and relaxing outdoor environ ment to the urban and rural people who are exhausted.Based on the environmental recovery theory of environmental psychology,t his paper takes the psychological pressure of urban residents as the starting poi nt.Taking Harbin City Park as a research sample,the paper mainly studies the main spatial characteristics that affect environmental restoration through literatu re research: spatial openness and species richness.Degree,tranquility,shelter,naturalness,and quantitative methods for determining spatial characteristics.Sec ondly,through the field investigation of the urban park in Harbin,the space wi th rich activities is obtained.As a spatial sample with potential for restoration,the spatial characteristics of the sample are quantified.Next,through the laborat ory simulation experiment of the sample space,combined with the subjective re covery evaluation and physiological information collection of the subjects,the e nvironmental recovery of the sample space is obtained in terms of “attention re covery” and “pressure recovery”.Again,through Spearman correlation analysis and linear regression analysis,the specific influence degree of spatial characteris tics on the environmental recovery of the two aspects is obtained.Finally,by s ummarizing the better sample space characteristics of restorative evaluation,the quantitative range of activity spatial features with high recovery is obtained,a nd the corresponding restoration space creation mode is proposed for different open spaces of urban parks.The study found that the degree of naturalness has the most significant impact on the environmental restoration of the activity spa ce in urban parks.The semi-open space has the best restoration effect.The spa tial characteristic parameters are: area interval 250m-436 m,coverage interval 0.4-0.74,and enclosure interval 0.75-0.82,D/H interval 1.25-2.08.In this study,the research perspective of restorative environment is focused on the spatial characteristics of urban parks.The spatial characteristics of resto red urban parks are sorted through questionnaires and literature research.The vi rtual experiments in the laboratory are combined with subjective evaluation andphysiological indicators to analyze urban parks.The impact of active space fea ture recovery;comparing the spatial recovery differences of different open degre es and obtaining the suitable space feature interval,the four types of activity s patial environment restoration optimization methods of urban parks are proposed,which provides a basis for the transformation of existing urban parks.
