With the continuous development of China's economy and technology,waterway traffic activities are becoming more frequent,and shipping pressure is also increasing.New marine traffic management equipments and ship monitoring systems have also been applied to waterway traffic management to ensure safe navigation.As the navigation density of ships in offshore waters,ports,docks and other places has increased significantly,offshore shipping management is facing the problem of dense ship targets,complex navigation conditions and diverse management needs.However,current systems for offshore waters monitoring are not so much.And in the existing technical solutions,AIS(Automatic Identification System)and multi-radar networking systems are often combined together.This thesis researches and analyzes the offshore ship monitoring system,and does the following two aspects.(1)Multi-radar track correlation algorithm is the core of the offshore ship monitoring system.However,traditional algorithms are not effectively when the number of track correlations is very large.In this thesis,a multi-radar track correlation algorithm based on region division is proposed.It reduces the redundant calculation by region division during the procession of association decision.Hence the processing power of the algorithm is improved.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively solve the problem of track correlations in large numbers uneder the dense track environment.And it is superior to the classical algorithm in processing time and correlation accuracy.(2)This thesis analyzes the mainstream monitoring technology of ship monitoring system.On this basis,using Web development technology and electronic chart technology,this thesis designs and implements an offshore ship monitoring system based on C/S architecture.Tests show that,with the proposed multi-radar track correlation algorithm,the system can efficiently correlate the track generated by the multi-radar network system and the track generated by the AIS system,and monitor and manage the ships effectively.
