In recent decades,with the extensive application of long-span steel truss suspension bridges,the study of which has become a hot spot.The bridge deck pavement of long-span steel truss suspension bridges may be slipped,cracked and other diseases during use.The occurrence of these diseases is closely related to the mechanical characteristics of the steel bridge deck pavement structure system.Structural steel bridge deck and pavement system composing mechanical characteristics is more complex due to the influence of orthotropic bridge deck.A good steel bridge girder suspension bridge deck pavement becomes an important factor in promoting the construction and development of steel truss suspension bridges.Therefore,Mechanics research of long-span steel truss suspension bridges pavement relying on the actual project has been done and the main work and results of this paper are as follows:Firstly,the finite element calculation model of bridge deck pavement of steel truss suspension bridge is established by finite element method.The mechanical characteristics under static vehicle load are analyzed.The most unfavorable load position,pavement stress and deformation change with depth are obtained.The influence of the elastic modulus of the bridge deck pavement on the static characteristics of the bridge deck of the steel truss suspension bridge has been proved.Secondly,based on the multi-body dynamics theory,the dynamics simulation software is used to establish the vehicle-bridge decking coupling dynamics simulation model.Considering the vehicle's driving speed,pavement surface irregularity and elastic modulus,the dynamic characteristics of bridge deck pavement of steel truss suspension bridge has been analysed.Finally,based on the analysis results of static and dynamic characteristics of bridge deck pavement of steel truss suspension bridge,the relationship between the dynamic characteristics of bridge deck pavement and the static characteristics at the most unfavorable load position under the condition of vehicle speed and pavement surface irregularity is established.The relevant dynamic impact coefficient table provides a basis for the simplification of the analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the bridge deck of the steel truss suspension bridge.
