Study On City Evolution Of Historical Town Conservation Zone(ZPP-Ua) Of Vientiane Capital, Laos

The main objective of the thesis is to present the study concerning City Evolution of Historical Town Conservation Zone(ZPP-Ua)in term of the shifting of the city in new era and physical management in the old city of Vientiane Capital,Laos.The propose of this thesis is the result of the new image create for the Historical Town Conservation Zone(ZPP-Ua).Hence the thesis is divided in to four main zones by using the criteria:the height,building area,open space and view;those are the main elements of the urban design that would manage the construction or renovation which relate to the environment in that zone.This research will be studied in the Historical Town Conservation Zone(ZPP-Ua)of Vientiane Capital is located along the Mekong riverbank,covering an area of 150 hectares.It covers all villages with 10 villages:Vat Chan,Haiy Sok,Anou,Meexay,Xieng Yuen,Kao Yord,Phia Vut,Si Mueng,That Khao,Pha Pho village.In this research,the educator has studied the rules,laws,process of change was very involved in implementation and responsibility.Collecting primary data using surveys(100 people in that zone)most of the questions are often asked as closed questions to facilitate data analysis;observations,and from the map.By studying the data from a map survey and aerial photos in each period of time.Also collecting surveys of physical features such as buildings,infrastructure,space utilization in surrounding community.The research will show that if lacking of detailed plan,construction management or urban management.Obviously,the problem would appear in term of changing the building type and function or the construction problem in the old town zone.Moreover,this research also has the direction of development in the future is seen from the policies,principles and an appropriate way of identifying developmental approaches for physical management in the old town area.
