With the continuous improvement of China’s economic development level,the transportation construction has made great progress.As a new type of traffic organization that is accompanied by the development and transformation of modern cities,the viaduct traffic is an inevitable outcome of the three-dimensional development of urban space.A large number of viaducts have been built.However,due to the long-term lack of consideration of the natural environment,social ecology and aesthetics,behavioral psychology,etc.,its single function has no longer adapted to the needs of urban development,and people gradually realize that it may have a negative impact.Under the background of Guangdong Province’s efforts to promote the GuangzhouShenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Corridor,the Dongguan section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway is an important link in the corridor of innovation and transformation in the corridor,and plays a pivotal role in this planning.Based on this background,based on the actual project “The Landscape Quality Improvement Plan of Dongguan Section of Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway”,the author firstly discussed the concept of highway viaduct,the spatial extent of the study and the spatial characteristics of semi-urbanized areas in Dongguan.On the basis of this,combined with the theoretical research foundation at home and abroad,the reasons for the formation of the remaining space under the viaduct,the problems faced and the development direction are theoretically sorted out,and relevant examples are compiled as a reference to discuss the highway under the viaduct.The meaning of the remaining space on urban and rural functions and environment has laid the theoretical foundation and reference system for research.On the basis of theoretical research,the on-site survey of the Dongguan section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway was carried out to summarize the existing viaducts and under-bridge spaces in the area,and to analyze the types of remaining space generated in the construction of the expressway viaducts and their respective characteristics.At the same time,it analyzes the current situation and utilization of the remaining space under the Guangshen high-speed viaduct,and summarizes the problems existing in the current situation and the causes.Based on the basis of the above-mentioned cognitive and evaluation research,comprehensively analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the remaining space under the highway viaduct,summarize its potential utilization value and its limiting factors,and combine the requirements and thinking in the actual planning and design work,and propose the utilization target of such space.And principles.On this basis,further in-depth,split the various elements of the landscape utilization of the remaining space under the highway viaduct,and discuss them one by one,and propose corresponding strategies.Finally,the paper summarizes the full-text research,in order to establish the evaluation mechanism of the remaining space landscape utilization under the viaduct,reflect on the particularity of the remaining space under the viaduct of the expressway,and forecast its future development,from the development trend and technical feasibility.Exploring its possibilities from an angle.
