Bolt connection has become the major way of connection in the automobile assembly.It is tightening quality directly determines the stability and security of the products.As the last stage of the assembly,here includes all the factors that affect the tightening.This thesis makes a research as follows:How to utilize the tightening technology and effective ways to monitor and discover the issues in the cause of tightening so as to ensure the quality of assembly.First,introducing the advantage of bolt connection and its applying areas and the basic theory of tightening is introduced in detail as follows: the purpose of bolt tightening and connection,the relationship among torque,friction and clamping force.All kinds of strategies for tightening control and the comparison between advantages and disadvantages.Second,we make a deep research on several factors that affect the bolt assembly as below: how to choose a suitable tightening tool and its components,how to adopt the tightening strategy and develop the tightening technique and parameter.The component of the advanced tightening system.The correct way of tool calibration,the effective ways of torque checking.Third,To optimize in the tightening monitoring and install the hardware auxiliary devices make an effective recognition on the issues occurring in the process of assembly,such as fake torque,defective bolts in the bolt thread,short tightening,false tightening order,short assembly of tip and recognition the tearing of bolt cap.At last,the issues caused by man,machine,material,method,can be discovered and predicted by reviewing the tightening curves,such as the inherent defective of bolt and its joint,the change of inner friction in the course of tightening,the tearing of the cap of bolt or the socket.The tightening can be optimized in reverse based on the curves.Besides,looking forward to the development trend of tightening technique and tools,it should be characterize by the realization good assembly efficiency and human engineering by the coordination between soft and hardware,mini volume but high output torque with high precision and low counterforce under high speed,automatic angle compensation,etc.
