Study On Quantitative Of Material Morphology Of Chongwu Ancient Town And The Relevance Of Its Elements Based On Block Unit

Chongwu Ancient City is located on the southeast coast of Hui'an County,Quanzhou City,Fujian Province,near the Taiwan Strait.In 1387(the twentieth year of Hongwu Ming Dynasty),Zhou Dexing,the Hou of Jiangxia,built to resist Japanese invaders in coastal defense,is the most complete T-shaped stone city in existence in China.Chongwu Ancient Town,as a defensive ancient village bred under the Ming Dynasty sanatorium system,mainly focuses on natural growth.The complex form of settlements makes it difficult to carry out the protection of ancient cities.To solve this problem,this study puts forward a quantitative research method of material form of Chongwu ancient city based on street unit,and probes into the internal mechanism of the ancient city system.This method solves the problem that it is difficult to combine and compare the indexes of different types of material morphological elements,and realizes the horizontal comparative study of material elements.This study can be divided into the following four parts:Firstly,Extraction of elements-Combining the theory of urban morphology with the characteristics of Chongwu ancient city settlement,the quantitative study of morphology is carried out with street,street and building as the basic material elements.Secondly,the measurement of elements-based on the cluster characteristics of basic geometry,the measurement methods of the plane shape of street,the topological shape of street and the distribution form of building are put forward.Third,the integration of elements-Street as the research unit to achieve the integration of different material elements.Fourthly,the relationship of elements-using multivariate analysis method,this paper explores the internal relationship between the elements of the ancient city and between the elements and the wall,and puts forward some suggestions for the planning and protection of Chongwu ancient city.At present,the quantitative study of rural settlement morphology in China is mainly static research,less in-depth into the internal generation and development mechanism of settlements.This study takes Chongwu ancient city as the research object to explore and practice,aiming at putting forward a new idea of quantitative research on settlement morphology.The focus of this study is no longer confined to the form itself,but the dynamic relationship between the elements behind the form.By means of quantitative means,the horizontal comparative analysis of the morphological characteristics among the elements is carried out,so as to excavate deeper laws and order of the settlement morphology.
