| Under the background of sustained economic development in China and accompanied by the transformation of the concept of national consumption and the upgrading of tourism,visitors have transformed from a simple sightseeing tour in the early time into a deep experience tour,and a variety of themed tourist destinations and distinctive hotels have emerged.Viewing is an extremely important part of tourism life,and the sensory experience of tourist destinations has become a symbolic feature of deep tourism.Boutique hotels have emerged in the context of such consumer demand.For a boutique hotel,how can the sensory experience and aesthetic appreciation of the viewing experience be clearly translated through the “narrative” approach of the hotel space is a question that operators and designers must think about,which is also the research key of my theoretical study and design practice for my postgraduate studies.Therefore,this thesis studies the narrative method of "space" in the narrative theory,takes the intersection of spatial narrative and space design as the research direction,and discusses the narrative design strategy and method in the design of boutique hotel space.Because the practice object of this thesis is the boutique hotel that has been transformed and utilized in the traditional architecture,this paper selects the space design case of the typical remodeled boutique hotel to analyze the elements and principles of spatial narrative design,and the narrative language,structure and themes of spatial form,so as to propose specific design methods.A systematic narrative design strategy for the boutique hotel space is formed,and the design practice of the actual project is further verified to provide a reference for the design theory and method of the boutique hotel space.This thesis is composed of five chapters,of which the third and fourth chapters arethe focus of the thesis.Chapter 1 is the introduction part,which mainly focuses on the background of the research,the domestic and international research status of boutique hotel and space narrative design,and discusses the research content,value,significance and method of the thesis.Chapter 2 is an overview of relevant concepts,which summarizes the design elements of the narrative design for boutique hotel space,and provides a reference for the views presented in the following chapters through literature analysis and induction of the concept definition,traceability,development and status quo of boutique hotels and spatial narrative design.Chapter 3 is the construction conditions and methods of spatial narrative design,and analyzes the spatial narrative language,elements and techniques.By combing the case of typical boutique hotels,it is clearly demonstrated the feasibility and value of spatial narrative as the main idea in the design of boutique hotels.Chapter 4 is the narrative space design practice of the boutique hotel,taking the renovation of Huangxizi Villa Hotel at Nanbin Road,Chongqing as an example.The above-mentioned narrative design methods of boutique hotel space are applied in the practice,so as to study and verify the feasibility of such narrative design methods.Chapter 5 is the conclusion part,which summarizes the main research results and forecasts the future development of such field. |
