In the process of SRM manufacturing, due to various reasons the grain in the combustion chamber might be some quality defects. In this case, need to analysis the grain burning face and the interior ballistic,to assess the effect of the defects on the engine performance. At present the usual calculation program of grain and performance only for the normal grain. To calculate performance with grain defects need to be developed corresponding calculating program,in order to predict the performance of the SRM more accurately. To analysis the performance with grain defects, this article presents methods using secondary development function of the Three-dimensional modeling software SolidWorks,on the basis of the grain model to develop the programs with the VBA and API to calculate the burning surface. And simulate the burning surface with grain defects on the combustion process,to analysis the effect of burning surface change on motor structural integrity. At the same time, using conventional data analysis software Excel to develop solid rocket motor internal ballistic calculation programs,to add the adapt parameter in calculation process to make the calculation results more close to reality motor.According to some actual grain burning surface with defects and the internal ballistic calculation results, and compared with the experimental data, the calculation programs about grain burning surface with defects and the programs of the interior ballistic calculation program was verified.Using the development program to analyze the charge of common defects,in order to provide the reference about performance analysis of the SRM with the similar grain defects.
