To apply the intercooled and recuperated technology in the future turbofan engine,an intercooler designing program and a Turbofan engine thermal performance calculation program were established by MATLAB language according to current researches.Simulations of intercooled turbofan engine,recuperated turbofan engine and intercooled recuperated turbofan engine were carried out,and the results were compared with the conventional turbofan engine which gives out the main parameters and technical application risks.At the same time,an optimization program was established to optimize multi parameters of the heat exchanger which laid the foundation for the subsequent multi-objective overall performance optimization in the future.Results show that the plate fin structure of the intercooler will have greater heat transfer efficiency,and its high compactness is more conducive to the smaller and lighter requirements of the aero-engine.Application of the intercooler will make specific fuel consumption rate increased slightly while increasing the specific thrust;using of heat exchanger can effectively reduce the specific fuel consumption,while leading thrust down;the comprehensive application of intercooler and recuperator will make the specific fuel consumption decrease further and make up the influence to specific thrust.Heat exchange efficiency was increased by 3.94% after optimization.
