Study On Outdoor Leisure Activity Space Of Elderly In The Residential Areas Based On Agent Based Modeling

As the aging of the population has intensified,the care of the elderly has become more and more evident.The outdoor activity space of the existing settlements has problems such as spatial layout and facility configuration,which cannot meet the needs of the leisure activities of the elderly.At present,the way to solve the problems is to obtain analysis data through filed research and statistical analysis,but lacks the verification and reliability of the improved scheme.At the same time,the research on the simulation of human activities in space using Agent-Based-Modeling(ABM)method is in the stage of exploration and development.Through the investigation of selected residential areas,the relationship between the leisure activities of the elderly and the space attributes was obtained.The ABM model was constructed to simulate the activities of elderly in the outdoor activity space.Then the problem of the outdoor activity space was proposed,and the improvement scheme was simulated to determine the solution strategy based on ABM for the improvement of outdoor activity space with certain reliability.The selected settlements obtained data through site survey,questionnaire interviews,structural observation and other research methods,and identified two factors that affect the leisure activities of the elderly – space attraction and distance.The data is analyzed by correlation analysis method,multivariate synthesis model and distance attenuation function,and the potential model is used to integrate the two factors as the parameters of ABM simulation.According to the characteristics of elderly leisure activity,the ABM model is constructed to simulate the outdoor activity space in the residential area of Taoyuan residential.By comparing the simulation results with the research results,the ABM model with certain applicability is obtained.The ABM model is used to simulate the improved plan to determine the specific implementation plan that can improve the utilization rate of outdoor activity space and shorten the necessary travel distance of the elderly.
