In this thesis two novel topologies named Cascaded Z-source Isolated DC-DC Converter(CZIDC)and Quasi Z-source Multilevel DC-DC step-up isolated Converter(ML-qZDC)are proposed.CZIDC inherits advantages of Dual Active Bridge(DAB)as well as Z-source impedance network.To describe operating principle four different PWM control methods are used to insert shoot through state in CZIDC.Finally,performance is investigated through comparative analysis of experimental results and conclusion is drawn.In other topology i.e.Quasi Z-source Multilevel DC-DC step-up isolated Converter(ML-qZDC)has been proposed.Two active bridges of ML-qZDC can produce any desired output voltage waveform across the transformer.7L-2L configuration has been investigated and affirmed on SIMULINK MATLAB to verify the proposed topology. |
