With the development of wind power industry,wind power technology is becoming mature.The lubrication and cooling system of the fan gearbox plays an important role in the life of the wind turbine.The air-cooled radiator can use the external cold air and the heat transfer principle of heat convection of the heat pipe core to cool the lubricating oil,so as to ensure the normal and smooth operation of the wind turbine.The heat dissipation performance of the radiator directly determines the working efficiency of the fan in normal operation.In this paper,CFD numerical simulation and wind tunnel test are used to analyze the performance of wind cooled radiator for lubrication fluid of 5MW wind turbine.This paper use the meshless fluid analysis software XFlow,fan blades under different wind speed of 5 mw disturbed flow situation carries on the analysis of the surrounding air,studies the parameters such as the speed of the fan blades,and use the probe after monitoring the air by the fan blade vortex get passed to the radiator surface wind speed change law,provide premise conditions in the research of fan,radiator;Then using Fluent software and air outlet temperature of the radiator,radiator pipe core coupling heat transfer coefficient and air wind resistance characteristics of the numerical analysis,the same type radiator different air inlet velocity,high temperature lubricating oil inlet flow conditions,different discharge pipe core spacing of fluid-solid coupling heat transfer calculation,respectively,and the different wind speed and the radiator under different lubricating oil inlet flow conditions on the surface of the heat transfer coefficient comparison,it is concluded that the air inlet wind speed affect the overall thermal performance of radiator,than the lubricating oil in the radiator pipe wick inlet flow the influence of the heat transfer coefficient of radiator,When the distance between heat pipe cores is 8mm,the heat sink has the best heat dissipation effect.Under the condition of the same air inlet velocity,the larger the inlet volume flow of high-temperature lubricating oil,the higher the heat sink outlet oil temperature;Under the same condition of inlet flow,the higher the head wind speed,the greater the wind speed between the air flow through the radiator core,the greater the heat transfer coefficient of the radiator,and the lower the air temperature in the radiator outlet,and the smaller the temperature difference between the front and back of the radiator core.Finally through the wind tunnel test on the parameters of the four types of radiator performance are measured,and the results compared with CFD numerical simulation values,the numerical simulation of the heat value and experimental value,the maximum error is about 9.4%,radiator pipe core numerical value and experimental value of wind resistance between one of the biggest error is around 8.6%,both the trend line,match degree is better,also can provide guidance and reference for the design of new type radiator,shorten the r&d test period,save development costs,improve work efficiency.
