Research On Evaluation And Protection Planning Strategy Of Traditional Settlement Protection In Taiwan

The protection of historical and cultural villages and towns in China(known as “traditional settlements” in Taiwan)has been paid more and more attention.However,whether the existing protection planning and management mechanisms are in line with the objective laws of village protection and development,it is necessary to rely on the evaluations to existing protection status to identify strengths and weaknesses and their causes,adjust and optimize protection planning strategies and management mechanisms,and form a virtuous cycle mechanism for traditional village and town protection.On the basis of statistics and classification of traditional settlements in Taiwan,the typical samples were selected for field research and literature collection,and the characteristics of Taiwan’s settlement protection planning were summarized.From the aspects of resource protection and activation and utilization,the paper analyzes the samples by 22 three-level indicators to find out the status quo in the protection status and analyze its advantages and disadvantages.The results of the evaluation of the traditional settlement protection status in Taiwan and the evaluation results of the typical samples of historical and cultural villages in Guangdong Province were compared and analyzed to find out the differences between the two places and their causes.Compare and analyze the corresponding protection planning strategies and management mechanisms,including protection planning,management system setting,control principles and rewards system,summarize the roles and laws of the protection planning mechanism in the protection process,and then obtain the optimization strategies for planning and management mechanisms.
