As the pace of urbanization in China continues to accelerate,the number of motor vehicles has increased steadily,urban roads have grown slowly,and traffic congestion has worsened.In many cities,especially those with imperfect urban road networks and deformed traffic structures,some bottlenecks and intersections are too large due to excessive traffic during peak hours.Unbalanced traffic supply and demand often leads to long queues at roads and intersections.There is a queue overflow phenomenon.In practice,the traffic management department relies solely on the police force to conduct diversion,and the efficiency is low.Therefore,solving the queuing overflow phenomenon through scientific and technological means is the only way to alleviate traffic congestion and liberate the police force.Firstly,the basic theory of traffic wave is analyzed.The two modes of traffic flow,namely compressed wave and sparse wave,are described respectively.The queuing estimation model of bottleneck signal control intersection is introduced.The corresponding existence is analyzed based on the cumulative wave and queuing wave.The queuing process of secondary queuing and queuing over-street vehicles.Secondly,the basic parameters of the signal control at the bottleneck intersection are summarized and summarized.Based on the objective description of the overflow phenomenon,the upstream lane arrival rate of the bottleneck section and the discharge capacity of the bottleneck intersection are comprehensively determined,and the overflow control threshold and overflow control are determined.The trigger condition and the overflow control end condition,and considering the queue capacity of all the incoming trafficway corresponding to the traffic flow,propose a bottleneck intersection overflow control method based on the associated phase compression green time.Then,by constructing the VISSIM-VB-MATLAB secondary development simulation platform to test the effect of the signal control method,the vehicle queue length of the bottleneck section is selected as the pre-determination indicator of the overflow of the bottleneck intersection.Finally,the overflow analysis of the sections of Huancheng West Road,Huancheng East Road,Daqing Road and the north-south axis of Xi'an is summarized and analyzed by case simulation and results.
