At present, the population, area, and economic level of major cities are increasing constantly. In order to solve the problem of traffic congestion, more and more cities have built urban railway system.Since most of the urban rail is below the ground elevation,it is vulnerable to storm and flood during the summer rain period. However, the urban rail network has become the traffic artery of major cities, and once it is hit by rain,it will cause greater social and economic losses. Therefore, studying the vulnerability and survivability of the rail transit network under heavy rain is great significant for the prevention and emergency of storm disasters in all stages of rail transit planning, design and operation. This paper mainly analyzes the proposed problems through the combination of theory and practice, such as literature review, field research, and model construction.Firstly,an undirected weighted complex network of urban rail transit is established, and the basic characteristics, key nodes and passenger flow characteristics of the network are analyzed.Secondly, the influencing factors of urban rail transit vulnerability in heavy rain disasters are analyzed, and the specific examples are analyzed and evaluated by establishing models. Then define the invulnerability of the urban rail transit network under the storm, and establish the invulnerability index system and calculation model to analyze the actual problems. Finally, the flood prevention and emergency measures are proposed to ensure that the rail transit system can operate safely in the flood season.Through the research and analysis in this paper,in terms of network characteristics, the mature rail transit network has small world characteristics and scale-free characteristics;in terms of passenger flow volume, both types of intrusion will lead to sudden increased passenger flow volume in adjacent stations and some passenger flow loss, and intrusion into the track line will also lead to small increase passenger flow volume on adjacent lines;in terms of invulnerability, the topology of the urban rail network shows a certain stability, but the stability in terms of transport efficiency is low,and the danger of the rain invading the track line is much higher than invading station.
