Urban rail transport is the main artery of the urban public transportation, transporting big part of the passenger flow, and has a history of more than140years; in many major cities, rail transit has formed a network. Therefore, analysis and simulation of urban rail transit system should be taken from the point of view of network system.In this paper, in order to study and optimize the performance of the rail transportation network; we first analyze and study the urban rail transportation network structure. First of all, the rail transport network structure has been described from its basic linear and structural unit. Then, we abstract the rail transport network in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou into topological structure, and by calculating and analyzing the statistical characteristics of the Rail Transportation Network, we obtained that the three urban rail transit network has some common small world properties. When under attack, connectivity of complex network reduces and so does network transportation capacity. After randomness attacks or selective attack, statistical characteristics of the network will change and network transport capacity will correspondingly change. Verified by an example of structural changes after the attack, the Rail Transportation Network has some scale-free network characteristics. According to the degree of influence on the network by removing node in attacks, identify the hub transfer stations in the rail network, then grading the stations according to a certain method, providing guidance and advice for construction, operation.
