With the development of network technology,computers,tablets,mobile phones gradually replace the traditional books,newspapers,magazines,etc.,becoming a new media of information.However,for the visually impaired,due to congenital or acquired defects,they lose the main way to get information,sight,which prevents them from receiving a normal education and might eventually lead to their being abandoned by the society.Therefore,this huge vulnerable group requires a suitable interactive equipment for the blind to help them get the information and the right to education.By analysis and design of mechanical structure,hardware and software design of control system,and ultimate physical simulation,this article researches and designs a new type of Chinese Braille interactive devices.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,the article discusses the research background and significance of haptic devices and does a in-depth analysis and summary of various forms of haptic devices drive modes on the progress of scientific research and haptic devices,then finds the miniature motor and electromagnet would become ideal drive modes.According to these two drive modes,we design three mechanical structures by UG,one is based on linear motor,another is based on rotary stepping motor looking like a music box and the third is based on push-pull solenoid.Secondly,the article describes the hardware design and test of the Chinese Braille interactive device control system.Through studies of the MCU application,communication module of chip testing machine,as wellas single-chip C language program and Proteus,we realize the hardware functions of control part of the system and use SComAssistantV2.2 to carry out simulation tests,get the desired results.Finally,the article introduces the interface design of the Chinese Braille interactive system.We complete a Chinese Braille/Hexadecimal reference table according to the drive configuration and control principle of hardware based on "Chinese Braille" Chinese National Standard GB / T15720-2008.Then,we program a subroutine on the basis of this reference table embedded in the main human-computer interface program,achieve the function of controlling tactile Braille display.At last,we modify the main program by adding the LED subroutine for providing a convenient to the future simulation and subsequent program upgrading.It has been verified feasible by physical testing.
